Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzing credit data, financial statements, and credit reports to identify trends, patterns, and potential credit risks.
• Assessing credit risk models and methodologies to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitoring credit risk exposures and portfolio performance, and developing risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
• Utilize statistical techniques and financial models to predict the risk of default and estimate potential losses.
• Keep abreast of market conditions and trends that may impact credit risk (changes interest rates, economic downturn).
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including lending, underwriting, and collections teams, to implement credit risk management initiatives and optimize credit risk decisions.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree Finance, Economics. Statistics or other relevant degree.
• Preferably 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office, Strong in Analytics, Presentation Skill.
• Ability to assess financial statements and creditworthiness.
• Understanding laws and regulations governing lending.
• Good Communication skills.
